As you already know if you live in New Albany, we were hit pretty badly by the flood waters that consumed much of Mississippi and Tennessee early Sunday evening. We were able to get all of the cars off of the lot just in time to save them, but we had lots of water inside. We did as much as we could Sunday night to stop the water, and God did a lot of work for us during the night as the waters began to recede a little. My heart was warmed when I arrived to work early Monday morning to find more than half of the employees already there, starting to clean up the mess.

I just wanted to thank you all for your phone calls, your inquiries, and your prayers. A lot has happened in the last couple of days, and we are thankful to get things moving again. I would like to especially thank David Joiner, Bro. Rickey Blythe, Kenny Rakestraw, David Meeks, Mike McCarter, Rickey Henry, and the New Albany Fire Department. I also want to give a special thanks to my employees and staff. We have a long way to go, but we’ve also gotten a lot done; I am so appreciative of your efforts and your eagerness to clean up and take care of Parks.

Come by and see us. We are open for business again, and you’ll likely get to see more of the clean-up going on now.

Here are a few more images taken by our own, Judy Henry.
